I've seen lots of mentions of Ep III fic, but since I still haven't seen the movie like the sad overworked peon that I am, I can offer no recs.

And, because this thread's been slow, is the Shiny New Fandom high I'm experiencing at the moment the reason people become such big old fandom whores?

Uh, possibly. And what Dana said. Plus, I seem to be a multi-tasker by nature, and I also find that it helps to keep obsession to healthy and pleasant level when I spread my interest around.
