Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?

This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.

Hey, Erika, I meant to tell you: Barkley (on LJ) just posted a Homicide vid that I think you'd probably squee over. It's all Tim and Frank and Adena, and it's marvelous.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

So, guys. I've been rewatching farscape as of late because Pearl-o has just gotten into it; and I'm ambling through the third season & watched the PKW. Whew, do I need some stories. Does anyone know of/have recs? Rec sites? The best story ever? I'd really like to read some post-PKW stuff, but really anything will do. Help?

The place for Farscape fic is Leviathan, which is over on Shriftweb.org. Hosted by, well, Shrift.

I'm mostly out of the fandom these days, but for post-PKW stuff, there's Feldman and Thea, who have a ton of stuff together and separately. I'd also check out the Farscape_Friday community on LJ, as well as the Crack_Van recommendations. Bright Shiny Objects has some good FS recs (when they come back from hiatus...), as does PolyRecs.

Also, you could google the Sparky Awards, which would give you pointers to the better fic of the last few years.

My favorite story is probably KodiakkeMax's In the Company of Ghosts, which is a brilliant reimagining of the entire series, starting from the pilot. What if Tauvo ended up on Moya and Aeryn got recruited by Scorpius for a secret project? It's epic and fantastically written, especially if you love Aeryn.

I have a recs page here: [link]

If I only had a brain...

Holy *cow*. The official "The L Word" site has a link to the official "The L Word" fanfic site.

[link]

They are having a contest for the best fanfic. The winner " will receive a once-in-a-lifetime email mentoring session with the main Lady herself: L Word creator/writer/executive producer, Ilene Chaiken."

Is this a first? Note that Star Trek published fanfic after the show was off the air; I'd never heard of any show actually setting up its own fanfic site.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I know Dead Zone is supposed to be receptive to fan creations, although I haven't looked at the site.

The crackiest of the SGA crackfic writers has produced something just so crazy it's adorable. By the woman who brought you Ernie the furry octopus: What Happens in the Clubhouse.

Consuela, I get a "Not Found" error when I try to access Icarusincalion's livejournal for the fanfic you mentioned in Natter. Does she have a friends-only lock on her LJ, or could I be doing something else wrong? (I double checked spelling by googling, but the one hit gave me a Harry Potter fic with the same author name and a dead link to LJ...)

Spelling error, Matt.
