Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?

This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.

If I only had a brain...

Holy *cow*. The official "The L Word" site has a link to the official "The L Word" fanfic site.

[link]

They are having a contest for the best fanfic. The winner " will receive a once-in-a-lifetime email mentoring session with the main Lady herself: L Word creator/writer/executive producer, Ilene Chaiken."

Is this a first? Note that Star Trek published fanfic after the show was off the air; I'd never heard of any show actually setting up its own fanfic site.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I know Dead Zone is supposed to be receptive to fan creations, although I haven't looked at the site.

The crackiest of the SGA crackfic writers has produced something just so crazy it's adorable. By the woman who brought you Ernie the furry octopus: What Happens in the Clubhouse.

Consuela, I get a "Not Found" error when I try to access Icarusincalion's livejournal for the fanfic you mentioned in Natter. Does she have a friends-only lock on her LJ, or could I be doing something else wrong? (I double checked spelling by googling, but the one hit gave me a Harry Potter fic with the same author name and a dead link to LJ...)

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

Spelling error, Matt.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Huh, I'd be all upset that it took you guyz two days to tell me about that story, but I see Consuela actually told us about it on Saturday. So I can't even be properly 5yo-mad, either.

I'm just sorry we didn't get to see 5yo Teyla, but I guess somebody had to be the adult....

Sorry, Matt. I've misspelled her name wrong a couple of times, my apologies.

Trinityofone on LJ has a jaw-droppingly funny McKay/Sheppard AU where Shep is an actor up for an Oscar and Rodney is his manager...

So damned funny.
