If I only had a brain...

Has anybody got a Locutus icon lying around? (Preferably a Patrick Stewart-based Locutus.) It's for work.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Insent, Betsy.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

...so, I'm using the interpipe from school. I'm guessing that this isn't a link I should be clicking from here.

is frustrated.

Meanwhile...who's writing good Lost fic? I'm 2/3 of the way through Season 1, and I SO called the incest thing right from the word go. Go me. Am thoroughly gripped, albeit in a mightily WTF???!!! kind of way. But I have faith.

(...actually, what I'd REALLY like to see is RPF with JJ Abrams and whatchamacallim, the writer guy. Because from watching the bonus material, their GeekBoyLove is SO pure and OTPish that I squeed pretty much nonstop. Bless. Them. They're LoTRiPS cute.)

I am loving Lost, though. Fic would be nice - slash, het, gen, whatever. Just good fic. Anyone?

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Lessee. I didn't stick with Lost for very long because I didn't like it, but I managed to collect a few scattered fics. Because I do that kind of thing.

You can't have confidence without the C-O-N, Lost/Ocean's 11 xover.

Making Do, Jack/Boone, and this is probably my favorite fic I've read out of the few that have come across my desk. It hits my gay in certain situations thing.

Reparation, Sawyer/Sayid, a pairing of true hotness, there.

Now, in a perfect world, everyone would make the subject titles for fic on LJ something like FIC: Title by Author [Fandom, Pairing/Of Hotness, Rating, 1/1000000] for my organization. But they don't, which is why I suspect I have one or two more lurking in my memories that I can't find. Shrift wrote one (or more?) that are (of course) worth checking out. Especially in the Sawyer/Sayid family.

Talk about surreal crossovers: House/Xena, The Hunting of the Snark.

Oh, the happy hee. There is a Breadbox Summary of SG-1 Avalon. [link]

[MITCHELL JOGS THROUGH THE DOOR INTO THE GATE ROOM, WHERE LANDRY IS ALREADY WAITING. KLAXONS ARE BLARING, AND A FULL CONTINGENT OF SECURITY IS ALREADY STANDING BY. LANDRY TELLS HIM THAT SG-12 SHOULD BE ARRIVING ANY MINUTE, AND HE WANTED MITCHELL THERE. VALA, ACCOMPANIED BY SG-12, WALKS THROUGH THE GATE.]

VALA FANS: Squee!

FARSCAPE FANS: Double squee! With vomit and helium farts!

REST OF THE AUDIENCE: [moves chairs away from the Farscape fans]

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

WHERE LANDRY IS ALREADY WAITING

I read that as laundry and wondered what evil the dirt had gotten up to to be banned from the planet. Albeit, it's a chore on my list for today and while sending out to have it done is one thing, abolishing it is another.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

[MITCHELL IS STUDYING THE STARGATE WITH INTEREST. HE REACHES DOWN TO TOUCH THE RING.]

AUDIENCE: He's totally feeling the gate up, isn't he?

SGC STARGATE: [humming "You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman"]

Did anyone watching the season premiere NOT think something along these lines?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Betsy, where's the Breadbox Summary link supposed to go? It just takes me to the post above yours.

Clumsy paste, ita. Sorry.
