Look, you got a little stabbed the other day. That's bound to make anyone a mite ornery.

Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

his almost perfect caricaturish traits.

At least he's only almost perfect....

Thrive to spite them

Has anyone read Speranza's new SGA flashfic?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

No, but I went to look, certain that there would be spoilers for unaired episodes, and it's her Harlequin challenge, and it's 141K, and I have died from happiness.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I just started it! Kinda hot, so far.

Also, I was listening to some random stuff on an iPod and discovered the perfect Sheppard/McKay song. Tiffany, I Think We're Alone Now. I may have scared some people giggling madly while walkiing down the street.

For the hat trick:

Just hit the first real plot twist. Hah! Didn't see that coming.

Yeah, I read it a bit earlier. I don't know whether to be charmed or squicked.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I just got there, too. Huh. This is very amusing.

And how silly is it that I have an hour to kill before my hair appointment and instead of watching last night's SGA, I'm reading SGA fic? Heh.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I wouldn't say it's all that silly. Several writers in the fandom create better stories than the actual show producers, and one's imagination has a limitless location shoot and SFX budget.

If I only had a brain...

I think Dana says that Sentinel fanfic is consistently better than Sentinel itself.
