the link to which seems to be bad

auuuuuugh. I tried my usual tricks and couldn't find anything. shrift might have more luck (at some point), since she was the reccer.

I shall throw all my disapproving blame at her. Cause really, what else does she have to do all day? And it's not like the two of you have that many recs. Couldn't you just check every single one of them, every single day, just to appease your unappreciative, nonpaying fanbase?

Can't check right now, of course, but I'll take a look later. Although tonight I suspect I'll be mainlining Highlander episodes...

If I only had a brain...

Did they delete their comments? Either way, what a tool.

She sure did. Ah, the Internet; I can smell your tasty carbon.

Aha! And The History of the World also seems to be broken, but that's Dana's rec, so I thought I'd evenly spread the blame. Sigh. Everything's so freaking good... you guys rock.

Ah, same author. She must have pulled her stuff, if it's gone both from the LJ and the archive.

My copy of Naomi Novik's Temeraire arrived today. So looking forward to reading it.

I'm debating buying it. I love her fic in my particular fandom, but given the different setting and genre I'm not sure how well that will translate to the original novel.

I think if you like the Aubrey/Maturin novels, you would like Temeraire. There's also a sample chapter up on the website. (I think it is wonderful, and am not an objective reviewer at all.)

That's the series Master and Commander was based on? Not really my cup of tea...
