Betsy, I suspect you'd like YnM. It's over-the-top melodrama, gorgeous in its excesses, and the subtext is tasty. Plus, there are occasional vampires, and there's one episode about music. It's called "Descendants of Darkness" in English, and Netflix has it.

The idea of Glenn Danzig as a wee man makes even funnier my mental picture of his collaboration with Johnny Cash (who was tall). I mean, as if Johnny Cash and heavy metal weren't already a match made in heaven.
