Oh, and recently, I've been on a West Wing fanfic kick, and just found an absolutely hilarious story based on a Salon.com article and titled after the BtVS ep, Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered.

OK, I only watched the first three episodes of Yami. The one with the glasses is the evil doctor who lusts after the hero, right? Who's the blindfolded one? 'Cause he doesn't look like Tsuzuki, who has longer hair, IIRC.

I'm not sure who else it could be besides Tsuzuki, although maybe shrift will weigh in.
Betsy, I suspect you'd like YnM. It's over-the-top melodrama, gorgeous in its excesses, and the subtext is tasty. Plus, there are occasional vampires, and there's one episode about music. It's called "Descendants of Darkness" in English, and Netflix has it.
