We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know...insane.

Simpsons/Neverwhere.

Some typos, but that hardly detracts from the brain-breakage.

I am without speech.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yay! Must to read after work.

This [link] popped up on a list the other day and quite delighted me. Sheppard/McKay.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm looking for some Due South stories featuring Victoria. Kat Allison had a very good one with (the real) Ray Vecchio in Vegas, and Speranza's "Some Strange Prophecy" had a very notable Victoria section. Does anything else spring to mind?

Red hair and black leather--my favorite color scheme.

"Redux" by Ruth Devero is rather good. It's Fraser/Vecchio, and I don't usually read F/V, but the plot of this one sucked me in.

You can find it here. It's part of a larger series, but you don't have to read the other ones to enjoy it.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I have Men With Brooms, for good or ill.

...I'm assuming there's fic out there, yeah? Somewhere?

Oh yes, I've seen people posting stuff. I think there's been a few challenges and all that. Having only seen the movie like once, I've not particularly tried to pursue those fics, but there's a lot of good DS-level writers who have had at least a story or two.

Just watched the movie.

I'm not sure whether I have more of a crush on Canada, or on Paul Gross. Think it's about even. Mind you, he must be an arsehole in real life - cute Canadian Renaissance blokes don't get to be nice people on top of all the cuteness and talent and stuff, do they?

(...if he's actually a lovely man who's good to his old mother and rescues puppies...look, just lie to me, okay?)

Did I mention the part where I love Canada? And Canadianness? And this movie reminds me why? With the piss-taking, and the random lesbians, and the CURLING, for the love of heaven. And the gratuitous beaver shots. And the AA single mom. And the kids knocking back shots. And the drugs.

Not. America.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Hey, we have all of those things! We're just not allowed to film them. Fay, that's always been my tightly-held impression of Gross's character, too. I mean, it wouldn't be Fair and Just otherwise, would it?
