Yes. Men like sports. Men watch the action movie, they eat of the beef, and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of avenging our wrongs and that's all you've learned?

If I only had a brain...

I think I like those two episodes better in my head than I would on vinyl.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I think they're very compelling episodes, personally. And I like Cassandra in theory.

I was worried that they'd suffer upon rewatching, but really, they don't. The regular Highlander cheese and bad wigs aside, there's so much tasty emotional porn.

Up with the sun

I determined that there was no possible way I could hope to follow 1/10 of what was going on, without quitting my job and giving up all other leisure activities.

And the problem with that would be....?

(Hi, my name is Lyra and I'm a FH addict. But it keeps me off the streets.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I probably hate Scoggins more than most people -- but I must admit -- it's not the script that bothers me. I find she makes the character seem hysterical and unsympathetic.

Scoggins chews scenery and uses the resulting pulp for papier-mâché.

There aren't that many actors that can make me go "Oh, get over it. It's just a bit of rape and slavery. Stop your whining."

Oh, but remember that bit when Duncan and Methos slam each other against the truck? Yeah.

Mmph. Yeah. Hot.

You know how, when you finally twig to slash, certain relationships suddenly make so much more sense? Well, Comes a Horseman/Revelation 6:8 did that for me, and I never looked back.
