It's called a blaster, Will, a word that tends to discourage experimentation. Now, if it were called the Orgasmater, I'd be the first to try your basic button press approach.

Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?

This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

In line with my new hobby of peddling good McShep stories, "Hindsight" by rageprufrock. I think I'm beginning to like the AU stories better than the ones that just diverge from canon after a specific episode.

Thrive to spite them

You should also check out Edges by Rageprufrock, it's very good and sad, I got all misty eyed when I read it. It's AU future fic, very good.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

People with certain fannish leanings may find it amusing that I'm currently working on a project for the Kronos Longevity Institute.

If I only had a brain...

Anybody want to recommend SG-1 OT3 or OT4 that isn't written by Shalott? (Because I've read all of Shalott, not because she isn't excellent.)

Betsy, try Nandamai. And splash_the_cat has a recs site that lists OT3 and OT4.

I'm also assuming you've read Katie's stuff. And Salieri's "The Dirt of Sowing and Reaping". And Brighid's "Wheel".

Does there exist good Cassandra/Methos, or is that relationship widely agreed to be waaaaaaay too fucked up?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Oh, dear, Cassandra. Let's just say she's not the most popular character in the fandom. I've never seen good Cassandra/Methos, but admittedly, I never looked.

Ah. Since I've never seen an ep, I'm working from online scripts, and I thought that follow-on from "Comes A Horseman" could be angsty big-time.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Oh, there's plenty of post-Comes a Horseman angst fic out there. But most of the stuff I've read's been Duncan/Methos.

Of course, most of the HL fic I've read in general's been Duncan/Methos, so I may not be representative of the HL fanbase.
