Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?

This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It is difficult to write fic with a sales guy sitting in the other cube, inconveniently facing in the general direction of your screen. I'm just saying.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Here are a couple of itty bitty little New!Doctor Who fics, by moi.

This one is a drabble, 9th Doctor/Rose, spoilers for Season 26, "World War 3": [link]

This one is a bit more than a drabble but not much more. Again, 9th Doctor/Rose, spoilers for Season 26, "World War 3" and "The Doctor Dances": [link] It is a sequel to the other.

Always Anti-fascist!

musesfool has put a Harry Potter/Homicide ficlet in her livejournal. I found it here: [link] That is Baltimore backwards...featured in an ep that reminds me a lot of Fred in Pylea...if there were forty-eight hours in a day, I would write it, too.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The first thing Nikita noticed was the temperature and the piquancy of the room for it was really cold and awfully bright.

Yes, the room was piquant, with a subtle overtone of cloves and lavender contributing to the full-bodied scent.

She could see, someplace in her subliminal, how Sarah, Chuck and Simone watched her and their anguished faces alarmed Nikita.

Some place very deep in her subliminal.

The profundity of her experience in the short time she had known this man and the depth of the wake he was leaving in her life overwhelmed her. How could he think she would rebuild her life and move on? Didn’t Michael understand that he was leaving a full set of fingerprints in the woman’s broken heart?

I'm now picturing Gil Grissom staring bemusedly at the fingerprints on Nikita's heart.

She fell asleep and quickly navigated through a tumultuous engorgement of chimera.

Plus a minotaur.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

wow, a tumultuous engorgement of chimera.

... you know, I can't even begin to guess what she's trying to say there.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It would make a good new LJ name, if I ever changed my LJ name.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

you know, I can't even begin to guess what she's trying to say there.

Me neither. It does remind me of when my high school friend wrote an essay about "the voluptuous waste of bird", which also made no sense to me

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

She fell asleep and quickly navigated through a tumultuous engorgement of chimera.

If I had to hazard a guess, I would say that Nikita's having erotic dreams, but then again, she also could be sleepwalking in the garden.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Why not both?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Remember that Michael is dead. I suspect it's supposed to mean "she had bad dreams", personally.

Also, the suggestion posts for yuletide are up. God help the mods.
