She fell asleep and quickly navigated through a tumultuous engorgement of chimera.

If I had to hazard a guess, I would say that Nikita's having erotic dreams, but then again, she also could be sleepwalking in the garden.

Why not both?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Remember that Michael is dead. I suspect it's supposed to mean "she had bad dreams", personally.

Also, the suggestion posts for yuletide are up. God help the mods.

The engorgement threw me. Is she full? Beyond satisfaction? Congested with blood? Can you be agitated and replete?

Friends don't let friends abuse the thesaurus! But I'm not her friend, and therefore I am allowed to beat her with a Roget's.

Also, the suggestion posts for yuletide are up. God help the mods.

Lord have mercy on their souls.

I bop to Wittgenstein. -- Nutty

a tumultuous engorgement of chimera.

With the aid of answers.com, I interpret this phrase (giving her the benefit of the doubt) as follows: a noisy, disorderly and fanciful mental illusion which is congested with blood. Probably this supports Dana's 'bad dream' hypothesis.

Without the benefit of the doubt, it becomes: an individual who has received a transplant of genetically and immunologically different tissue, who is eating ravenously or voraciously to satiation and tends to cause tumult. On which basis I'd lean towards a sneak description of a resident of Sang Sacre if I thought it was that clever.

Can I just say, if I were one of the yuletide mods, I would kill people? Kill them dead with a big old killing instrument of death? Because I so would.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Someone's already submitted Firefly! Well, at least it isn't Harry Potter.

Also, Firefly? Not an obscure fandom.

I was bemoaning the lack of reading comprehension skills in fandom with tzikeh just the other day.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Someone's already submitted Firefly!

I noticed that when I peeked in the thread earlier today. Do I dare check back in? Is there stupidity? Is there entertaining stupidity?

Someone already submitted "The Inside" as an obscure fandom, so the only reason I have to go to the thread would be for the sheer fun of it.
