Naomi Novik accepted the award and asked everyone in the audience who was part of AO3 to stand up. It was awesome.

Then the World Science Fiction Society came over and made the OTW clarify that none of us fanfic authors were allowed to say we were Hugo winners. Because you're not. You're just devaluing the award if you say that. Maybe you think it's funny, but you're just being assholes all over social media.

It was a super-tactful way to address what I'm sure is a legitimate misuse of a trademark by a very small number of people.

Good Omens fic I love:

die_traumerei's The Sprawl of Life, first story, "Demolishing Proofs We Never Believed In" is complete. Has fun with the notion of Making An Effort.

attheborder's it's a new craze: Aziraphale and Crowley host an advice podcast. If Sheen and Tennant could be coaxed into committing podfic, this would be high on my "Pleeeeeeeeeeeease" list.

irisbleufic's Crown of Thorns. It's enormous. It's comforting.

drawlight's Salinity (And Other Measurements of Brackish Water) The bookshop doesn't recover in this one. :-( But Aziraphale does.
