I like books. I just don't want to take on too much. Do they have an introduction to the modern blurb?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So it is possible for a picture of a greased Orlando Bloom to be not that great?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

When he can look like this, or this, he's setting the bar way too high for me to dig this.

Well OK, that last one really does suffer from poor execution.

Who wants to volunteer to grease Orlando up and photograph him properly?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I don't really care for Orlando most of the time...

I think I will let ita grease him.

What would you all say "generals" mean in terms of college classes? i recieved a note from a student who is thinking of transferring here. She wonders what we have in the summer in terms of generals and accounting. She is an accounting major.

I'm thinking she means something like general ed requirements, which we don't have here. And we don't have accoutning. I'm thinking she should rethink transferring to a school that doesn't have her intended major.

Art Crawl!!!

I would guess Gen Eds too.

ita -- I'm sorry about how the test went and hope that you are feeling better today.

Meanwhile, I am in week 3 of the back spasm.

Also, I got an email at 8:34 asking me to come and interview at 9 Am. I replied that 9:30 would be better. It's 8:51 and I have had no answer.

What do I do with that?

(I am also not really dressed for an interview. . . but then, it's for a job that I'm not very excited about.)

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

sumi, call to see if they got your email, but be ready to hustle over there in, oh, 5 minutes.

Sorry to hear about your back, sumi.

I just sent in my "off sick" email, and will go back to bed cautiously until it's late enough for me to be able to call the prescribing doctor and get off these meds. At least I'm not scheduled to teach until 8:45pm.

Sorry about the back, sumi. I'm sitting here with a pulled muscle and an assload of stress-induced back pain, and I'm thanking the gods that it's not as bad as weeks of spasms. Yick, and my sympathies.

Sumi-

I hope your back feels better soon-- I would not want to go to a job interview with a spasming back!
