Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

But you eat chickens so you're not a vege?

Is it mammals you eschew dinner-wise?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I still eat fish and birds. My family wouldn't know what to do with me otherwise.

Wolfram, kick some ass, dude.

Is it mammals you eschew dinner-wise?

This is as good a description as any.

And now I'm going to stop talking about food and go try to find some before work.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

While trying to decide what to have for dinner, I ate a pint of strawberries. Oops. But yum!

Wolfram, I'm convinced ~ma is self-perpetuating, there is no running out.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

IME, if (raw) fish smells bad, it shouldn't be eaten. Really fresh fish shouldn't smell like much of anything at all.

What is even happening?

Wolfram, wolframandhartma to you!

Jesse, some good bread and butter, and a cup of tea (or glass of iced tea) and you've had the perfect summer supper, already.

Really, the best response to "I don't like bacon" is a respectful if sad silence, and the quick spearing of the last three strips on the serving plate.

No. You can't risk it. You ask straight out, "May I have it, please?"

What, and give them the opportunity to change their mind?

Visilurking

Thanks guys. I've spent half my day reassuring my client that I'm cool and professional and well-prepared. Now I can spend the rest of it freaking the hell out preparing.

I think I may have a hotdog, actually -- I need something more substantial and protein-y.

Good luck, Wolfram!
