CONGRATULATIONS TO JON!!!!
Where is msbelle?
Nilly gets a gold star. I have been without internet for 3 days from work. Wow, offices used to be much more boring before the internet. Let's hope it never goes back to that.
Today is the last day of school for most seniors. Too bad it is a cloudy rainy day - they had planned a pool party & cookout. poor noodles.
The apocolypse is starting at Gud's.
poor noodles.
They could always tack on a few extra school days and get a sunny one....yeah, that ain't gonna work.
Congrats to Jon & FAQ girl!
Funny sight: older man grumpily mowing his lawn. Wearing a sweatshirt saying: "I'm retired. Do it yourself."
Okay, hello, FAQ Girl and Jon got married!! Woo! and Hoo!
This is the second couple that up and done it, without publicizing the plan in advance, within Somerville city limits. I mean, Nora and Tom did not do the deed within city limits, but, they planned it here.
Sniff. I knew them when they were just playing Poetry Trivial Pursuit together in Worcester! (Actually, that night, chez Victor and Thessaly, was proof that FAQ Girl had already wrapped her brain around anything Jon was likely to throw at her.)
I love good surprises. Now, Jon must re-tell the story of their meeting, because it is the cutest story ever, AND involves the internet.
I was just thinking the other day about how I miss mowing the lawn. I haven't done it since I lived with my parents. I love the smell of freshly mowed lawn in the morning.
Riding mowers are fun. So are those old-fashioned non-motorized push mowers....
Oh, yay for Jon and FAQ!
Night has lightened up to dusk now.
Yay for Jon & FAQ Girl! Congrats!!
I haven't mowed a lawn since a mower put me in the hospital for 5 days. I can't say I miss it.
Somerville is clearly a highly dangerous place, and a threat to all that is good and noble and true and and American as represented by $50,000 corporate extravaganza weddings. Plus, they keep marrying these very sketchy Brit and Canadian types. Pinkos!
(also, tommyrot is welcome to come mow my lawn if he craves the experience so much. He may use any kind of mower he likes.)
I haven't mowed a lawn in 15 years, maybe longer. Weird.
My lawn currently needs mowing, but apparently I just tell the property manager and it gets taken care of. I'll have to see how that works.
