I think the point that a $50 top and a $20 bra don't look as good as a $50 bra and a $20 top is an interesting one.
Caught up in the fever, I bought a sports bra in my actual size, and lo! My breasts look so much better! Even though it's also a very good bra on the sports side, however, good looking boobies isn't a requirement during exercise for me, so it'll be forever (and a million dollars, thanks Ms Karan) before I'd bother replacing all my existing ones.
Oooh. I could visit the Paramus one when I'm at my Mom's.

Most women apparently don't do this -- they stick with one bra size for decades even if their body shape has changed. And most people don't get professionally fitted even once.
