Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So,

"I'll have a Coke."

"What kind?"

"Coke."

like that?

"We have trust issues." Mylar

Ke-razy. Can it be used for any drink or just for carbonated beverages?

Fred Pete - May 27, 2005 7:32:44 am PDT #7463 of 10001
Ann, that's a ferret.

That's it. "Coke" is fairly standard for "soft drink" in NC.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Exactly like that, tommyrot.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Just like that, tommyrot. It doesn't even sound strange to me.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

"I'll have a Coke."

"What kind?"

"Coke."

No different than someone saying they'll have a pop or soda.

"I'll have a Coke."

Only, in my mind, in that sentence coke would not be capitalized.

coke=pop, soda

Coke=Coca-Cola

We use coke in NM as well.

Even when we mean jarritos.
