No, it's shiny! I like to meet new people. They've all got stories...

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Excellent. On which side will you prefer to play?

Not really sure. It's hard to tell before I get the game and see what else is going on. I suspect the good guys, but it sounds like they're harder to play too.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

oh, have you ever managed to watch "Firefly"?

I'm watching it, an episode at a time, when I get the chance. I think I'm going to be very upset when there's no more to watch. My goal is to finish before the movie opens, though I won't be able to see it opening weekend since I've got a few things to do, like get married.

Oh, it's absolutely gorgeous! The same color, as well?

Exactly the same. The fabric is unbelievable--a lovely silk mikado that has a structure all its own. I'm going to have to force myself not to touch it constantly. As soon as I tried it on, I knew it was the one.

On this lovely note, I must run. DF needs to be awakened, and I need to catch a few hours of blissful sleep before my 11 am conference call. Have a lovely weekend and I'll send you the picture first chance I get.

Which side has the better animals? In the movies, I think the Bad Guys did.

Night, Maria! It was wonderful to finally post with you!

Hee. Well, the bad guys had oliphaunts. It's hard to top that. But then, giant eagles.

That's what I was thinking about when I posted, mostly.

But then, giant eagles

Giant Shelob. Just the one, though.

Good point. I think the giant Shelob might tip it.

Did I just create a talented new representative for the forces of darkness? All in a day's work, I guess (or, um, a quite scary definition of what happens when I don't have a weekend).

Lots of things I could do; many things that I quite possibly should do; but have to do? Nup. Not a one.

This may in fact be the definition of "perfect weekend." Is the War of the Ring game at all like the old SPI one?

Nilly, I saw your post in Firefly, and let me commiserate: the movie isn't opening in Greece either.

Maria, I know you are no longer here, but I *love* that dress! I hadn't seen it before...wow!

That's pretty much all I've got, except I just got back from the store with a pre-packaged dessert, the brand of which is "MORFAT." I'm guessing that wouldn't sell in the US.

Oh, Raquel! A sister-Buffista in trouble and Serenity-less-ness. You, however, have a Mal of your own at home, and even not a fictional one. So I still get to be the whiniest.

Hee.

We may have to charter a flight to get all of us from the Med and MidEast to the nearest theater showing "Serenity." Or, you know, acquire bootlegs.

Off to make dinner and amuse the non-fictional Mal.
