All right, yes, date and shop and hang out and go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Plans: Attend wedding of former semi-Buffista and ex-Trouble Down South bassist Julie Beth. Rest when possible. Probably work Monday, 'cause the Lege is still at it. Incidentally, this event on the floor of the House yesterday was one of the funniest things I've heard all session.

Best vacation: Italy '00. I got hitched, saw some art, ate lots of gelato, hiked, fished, relaxed like hell. Close 2nd: Brazil '97, 'cause not many people can tell stories of swimming with piranha and caimans or seeing giant anteaters, anacondas, and capybaras in the wild.

Weekly happy: Tie between brunch with msbelle last weekend and Li'l Jandek making repeated singy "aaaaaaa"s for about 5 minutes straight while listening to John Coltrane last night. That was freakin' cool.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Plans for the weekend: massage after work Friday; lots of nothing the rest of the weekend. Laze about, clean out the closets for Goodwill, watch the 2 weeks' worth of Fullmetal Alchemist I have taped. Just a lot of loafing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, I'm totally torturing myself watching Bobby Simone die on NYPD Blue. Still.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Does that mean they're in the mail?

SO SAD. But so good. At least I'll be working fulltime (god willing) by the time they get to Diane doing it with Ricky Schroeder.

PS: Awwww, Corwood!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

JZ, if you're porcine, I am a one-eyed Asian man.

Tep, that's very sweet of you, but the body image demons care not a whit about anyone's actual non-porcinitude. Factual attractiveness has been repeatedly proven to offer little to no defense against the attack of a really determined body image demon (if it did, the Buffistas in all their collective foaminess would be quite safe, instead of bedeviled as we are).

ita, would that I had cute boys around, I would NOT be sending them to anyone. I would be convincing them of my awesomeness.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I had no plans for the weekend, but now it looks like I picked up Cubs tickets for Sunday. So that'll be cool.
