I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I love In'N'Out fries. Though we used to go to In'N'Out for burgers and E-Z-Out for fries, back in the day. But that hand operated machine that turns potatoes into uncooked french fries is truly a thing of beauty.

Art Crawl!!!

Now, I wish I'd have fries at lunch.

Much job-ma to Lyra Jane.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Are there potatoes in these fries? They're weirdly airy.

Up with the sun

Thanks for the good wishes, everyone.

Irony stings. I hope you land right on your feet.

It does, and I hope that too.

The only good thing is that I've been through this fairly recently.

I'm going to need to try to network. I hate networking.

So I'm in training this week. Everyone went out for lunch, but I brought mine back to eat at my station. Another co-worker came back, and now he's trying to sleep. Which is just weird. I mean, I like sleep, but not at work, while other people are around, and potentially typing about me on the 'net. And he's right in my line of vision, too.

I'm sorry. Good luck with the job hunt, LJ. I know not of things DC, alas.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Damn, Lyra Jane. Much job~ma to you. If there's anything I can do, let me know.

Way back when I was getting used to this working at a desk thing, I used to get insanely sleepy. But way to paranoid to nap in my office. I used to walk over to a parklike area and doze on a bench. Which was still paranoid making, but I was just too sleepy to care.

LJ, hope stuff works out for the best quickly.

Well, I haven't seen it personally in a while, but used to be you could see them turning potatoes into fries through the drive through window. Maybe they are using some sort of special, trademarked, airy potatoes.

Good luck, LJ. I am horrendous at networking, so no advice, but good thoughts.

People apparently sleep during their lunch breaks here, but not where I can see them. Sleeping people make good targets for small projectiles.

What is even happening?

Lyra Jane, I'm so sorry about the job. All the best to you.
