Chicken and Cheese Taquitos,

Is this any relation to Kakistos?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Mary Kay Letourneau - the teacher who had a sexual relationship with her student and now has 1-2 kids with him - has been released from prison and married the young man (I think he is 19 or so now).

I can't EEEEWWWWW enough over this. She told Larry King that she didn't realize what she was doing was a felony. When she served the first six months of her sentence that should have been enough of a warning that it was a felony--enough so that she wouldn't get caught in a parked van with him afterwards and have to serve the remaining 7 years of her sentence.

Also, I wonder how she would feel about a 34 year old "romancing" one of her own children at 13. (I'm pretty sure her older children are at least in their early teens by now).

Oh. my. God.

Those of you who have been on the board awhile know that I live in the middle of an area which has a once a year Lilac Festival, like, 5 doors down from me.

After a) having no f*cking place to park b) spending last night being entertained by my downstairs neighbors loud music party until 5 am c) being entertained by next house neighbors loud children party starting at 9:30 and am now

d) listening to some really horrible band at the festival cover "Funkytown" (by Lipps, Inc) sounding like they are in my living room.

I really should have arranged to be at the F2F this weekend.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I think I may have hit rock bottom. I find myself playing yahoo poker with strangers.

I dunno. Maybe if you were playing yahoo strip poker with strangers...

I really should have arranged to be at the F2F this weekend.

You'd be getting ready to go out to dinner with the rest of us AIWBFG.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

What kills me most is the double standard. If the situation had been a 13 year old girl getting pregnant by her 34 year old teacher. Yeah, he'd never be seeing the light of day. t /ranty mcrantypants that I have rantypants's about before

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

And proving I'm entirely too susceptible to suggestion, I just got back from walking over to the local DQ for a Peanut Buster Parfait.

DAMMIT. Now I want a Dilly Bar. I blame you people.

I haven't had DQ in a decade(ah, lactose intolerance.) Remember the star shaped popsicle things?

I'm a sucker. Albeit one with a health dose of skepticism and jaded whatever. Extreme Makeover: HE made me a total wimp. Would have been less so if I hadn't gotten news from my brother, but still. Softball sized handful of soggy kleenex. So a wuss.

Art Crawl!!!

So far the DH finale is good.

Also, I didn't realize that in the movie Bewitched Nicole Kidman plays a witch who is playing a witch on tv.

And I watched creeepy Cold Case instead of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

I enjoyed creepy Cold Case, although it seems to have given up on the formula of the ending montage which makes me cry every.single.time.
