The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You have a door??

I do, although my office is still considered a cubicle, since it wasn't built in to the building.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday Java Cat!

Sorry I missed the F2F and the Prom. I mean, at the Faerie Fest there was cleavage and glitter galore(not to mention more than a few unfortunate outfits) but it wasn't the same.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

What's Faerie fest, Sheryl? And what did you wear?

Up with the sun

Timelies.

Happy birthday to JavaCat, and belated happy birthdays to Corwood and anyone I missed in my skim.

Also, my ancestry is Polish-Scottish-Irish-English.

Also, the O.C. finale was definitely their best episode all season.

The Maryland Faerie Festival was an event celebrating the faeries. It was inspired by a similar festival in Pennsylvania. There was music, dance and storytelling. I was there as part of an English Country Dance group, Three Left Feet, so I wore my Rennaisance-ish garb.(meaning, chemise, long skirt and bodice)

Ann, that's a ferret.

Happy Birthday, Java Cat!

And assorted wishes, -mas, etc. to those I missed while being mostly offline for the last week!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Happy b-day Java Cat!!!

I am killing time at the Amtrak station.

Die, time! Die!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Just caught up on three days worth of natter. All I have to say is that in northern NJ we called kaisers "hard rolls."

Yup. Lame.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

"Kaiser" rolls are bulkie rolls. Everyone knows this.

And the pictures from the F2F are lovely. Everyone so pretty!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Okay...so I saw this link elsewhere and I was so aghast, I had to share it with the buffistas:

Mary Kay Letourneau - the teacher who had a sexual relationship with her student and now has 1-2 kids with him - has been released from prison and married the young man (I think he is 19 or so now).

Here is their Macy's wedding registry:
