I don't remember where that is. I'll quiz you about it at dinner tomorrow.

I *really* don't want to pay more than $150 a dresser-unit. Is that unreasonable?

Probably, if you want it to last.

This is why I wound up with one of my mother's old dressers for Lily. Dressers are (even used) shockingly expensive. Smaller specialty ones do tend to be cheaper, so you might be able to do under $250.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Well, if you're season 7 Xander, Almare, at least you get to wear a cool eyepatch.

Bother. I guess I have to talk to The Husband about our budget, what he thinks is a reasonable amount to spend, and if we're looking for ones that will last ages, or ones that will work for now. (The Ikea dresser we've been using for almost ten years is disintigrating somewhat dramatically, and I don't have enough floorspace to just store all my tights/stockings/chemises/assorted underthings in hat boxes.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Bon, it was on either Metafilter or Slashdot.

Poor shrift and shrift's people. That sucks.

Why did they have to put the first hour of a 2 hour CSI at the same time as the OC? I'm not THAT invested, but I hate missing the first half of stuff so bleh. Ah well, at least I've gotten to the point where I actually have a vcr....

Boss was superquestionhaving about what tasks are what and stuff today. Considering my performance eval discussion got postponed for a budget meeting in light of a 10% budget cut....my brain could go to upretty places. But it won't!

The fiancee of a guy I work with is in this episode of CSI. She plays a dispatcher of some sort and was mostly in scenes with Gary Dourdan. She reported that Tarantino gave her lots of direction, which she expected since she had never been there before, and hasn't done much television, but that Dourdan was all up in there with QT asking questions and going over the script and trying things. She thought that was odd since he must know the character, but I said, "Hey, if you had a chance to be directed by Tarantino, one of the great actor's directors around, you'd take as much advantage of it as you could." I did NOT mention that Rachel (the fiancee) was working one-on-one for hours with one of the most handsome men on earth, one who she reported was "very friendly"...well, not more than two or three times anyway.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Is anyone else watching CSI?
