Art Crawl!!!

Cashmere - you didn't have to take time off to view the day-long lotr marathon?

Because, the Chicago one started late Tuesday morning and ending early Wednesday morning. I took Wednesday off too. This allowed me to see a regular showing of RotK Wednesday afternoon.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh! Apology for GG overrun:

the network will broadcast the entire "Gilmore Girls" finale again some time in the next two weeks

If I only had a brain...

Worker absenteeism for last night and today's showings of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith is expected to cost NYC millions and U.S. employers $627-million, according to The Globe and Mail

My husband's company is taking everybody to see the movie on company time. Wonder if that counts as absenteeism?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Yup. That's the vacation day I referred to. But I just took one day.

My husband's company is taking everybody to see the movie on company time.

That's the kind of company I would want to work for.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Those absenteeism numbers sound like complete horseshit.

Maybe they're just trying to set George Lucas up for a class action law suit.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I'm still trying to make a Batman Begins viewing plan. I don't suppose that'll be having midnight screenings.

The first Tim Burton one did, because that's when I saw it. Don't know about any of the later ones. You should be able to check at an on-line ticket place.

Thanks for the GG-replay link, ita.

I think we (Montreal) had it before midnight -- it was certainly the first viewing, and I attended with a life size Wolverine cutout in hand. Arm. Whatever.

I'll keep checking the ticket sites to see.

Martian tourists, taking pictures of each other. There are three live spacecraft currently orbiting Mars. One of 'em took pictures of the other two. Cool.
