That's my girl, large and in-charge. Okay, teensy-weensy and in charge.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Those absenteeism numbers sound like complete horseshit.

Maybe they're just trying to set George Lucas up for a class action law suit.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I'm still trying to make a Batman Begins viewing plan. I don't suppose that'll be having midnight screenings.

The first Tim Burton one did, because that's when I saw it. Don't know about any of the later ones. You should be able to check at an on-line ticket place.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think we (Montreal) had it before midnight -- it was certainly the first viewing, and I attended with a life size Wolverine cutout in hand. Arm. Whatever.

I'll keep checking the ticket sites to see.

Martian tourists, taking pictures of each other. There are three live spacecraft currently orbiting Mars. One of 'em took pictures of the other two. Cool.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Worker absenteeism for last night and today's showings of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith is expected to cost NYC millions and U.S. employers $627-million, according to The Globe and Mail

Heh. My manager, he of the Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan action figures slaying a Furbie diorama on his desk, is out today. It was a planned absence, and when he sent his "Out of the office" email around last week, he made a point of saying that it had nothing to do with RotS, but was for some school thing his son had. Uh-huh. Sure.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I don't suppose that'll be having midnight screenings.

I don't see why not. I mean, it is the Dark Knight, after all.

I'm totally with you on it being important. Just not optimistic about them realising how key this is.

Lori -- what a dumb arrangement for the site! I can see why you mightn't allow linking to the graphic, but why not the the full page for any individual strip? And could you have more useless error messages?

Pfft.

Okay, suddenly earwormed with Justified & Ancient.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I love it.
