I tried to do that this morning but drove around where our polling place used to be and couldn't find it. So I just now did a websearch to find where it moved, and HA! It's right across the street from our house, at the elementary school. Der.
When you go in to vote, stay on the left of the auditorium, that's our precint.
If you want to vote, you need to go before 7:45ish.
When my mom would dry the sheets on the line in the backyard, we had a great place to hide/sit and chat.
Oh, and count me in with the "poor relation" crowd--I was at a funeral last weekend and my brother was talking about the house he and my SIL were thinking about buying in Florida. Not to move to, just to have for vacations, etc. (and probably share with family members, as well, or so I hope!). Considering I can't even afford to buy a 1BR condo to live in, the green devil of jealousy was definitely making biting comments in my brain. And it isn't like they're making huge amounts of money (he's a parole officer, and she's a teacher). But, she is great with money management, I'll admit.

Yeah, that's a huge thing wrt "apparent" wealth. I have friends who bought a house a few years ago, and I know they don't make a lot of money but she is NUTS with budgeting. Her sister makes much more, but spends it on clothes and stuff.
Edit: Not to even mention the people living beyond their means who look loaded, but are actually living on debt.
