Sony’s Qrio, a humanoid robot, has been attending a Californian nursery school for the past three months where it plays with young children in a test designed to see if robots can “live in harmony with humans in the future.” The robot is accompanied to its classes by a researcher.

Qrio spends time each day with more than 10 toddlers at the nursery school located in San Diego. Qrio is always accompanied by a researcher, who is in charge of making sure everything goes smoothly. The kinetic sculpture race was hilarious if very very wet. The dragon and the galloping cow sank. The platypus prevailed. Fifi the poodle was sodden. We did not fear the duck, however.
