Perkins isn't going to NZ. Kat is. She's bogarting
all
the foreign countries.
I'm trying to decide between the UK or somewhere far flung for this year. UK means I get to see my sister (it's been a while, and will continue to be a while if I don't). Far flung means -- dude, FAR FLUNG.
The more I delay, though, the more likely it's the UK.
I think the best fundraisers are those that raise money from people who are not the parents/family of those going on the trip, because they usually end up contributing anyway.

Hey! That is so not fair. And yet? I'm happy for her. Still jealous. But happy.

Where, where? I have a friend who wants to go to Antarctica. I think I kind of get that.
I have a friend (actually, Antarctica Guy) who has a conference in Vancouver sometime in the fall. I kind of want to tag along. I hear it's beautiful, and, well, maybe I could go hide in the bushes of the lot where they film the Gates. Or something less sad.
At last count, far flung was Madagascar.
We shall see, we shall see.

Hey Gus, is he on the south island? Cause that's where we are headed. And Meara is too. Is she gonna get to meet Seamus too?
I am NOT bogarting all the countries. My next trip after NZ is Oakland. How unbogarty-of-other-countries is that?
is he on the south island?
He's in Auckland, so ... no, not so much.
Aw, shoot! That sucks. We're going Christchurch and then doing South Island stuff.
I did my laundry! I need to fold it and put it away, but at least today wasn't a total slack day.
