Now tagless for your comfort.

I have to name-drop. I went to see this off-Broadway play this afternoon, starring Vincent Kartheiser, because my friend used to be his agent. So we talked to his girlfriend at the intermission, and then after the play, went up to the (amazing!!) apartment where he's been staying for the run of the show. Vinnie almost bummed a cigarette off me, but rejected it because it was menthol.

You can all touch me now.

Ooooooo. But also sad, because in my head, Vinnie doesn't smell like cigarettes. He smells like cinnamon.

I had a question for you last week, but I can no longer remember it.

Oy, I'm sorry. If you do remember it, and I'm not here, you know you could e-mail me, right?

Well, I finally got my actual confirmation

Congrats! Do you already have dates and stuff scheduled?

have already made plans with a friend to go out for Italian food tonight.

One of my cousins was dreaming of pizza since Monday. I made sure the salad I got today had pasta inside, but what I really miss is (whitefonted for Hil's sake) the smell of freshly-baked bread.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Oh, absolutely! I don't think it was anything that important, otherwise I would have e-mailed. Don't worry about it at all. I think maybe it was just that I hadn't talked to you in a while and wondered how you were doing...and forgot that it was Passover, silly me!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sounds like a good time, Nilly.

I don't think I'll be able to go this long without Google ever again. I couldn't even pretend that I know stuff!

SO TRUE. I think we all might need Treos.

But also sad, because in my head, Vinnie doesn't smell like cigarettes. He smells like cinnamon.

But he didn't have the cigarette! Also, the fakey cigarettes they were using for the show smelled great and a little cinamonny, but more clovey. But not really like clove cigarettes, I don't think.

Do you know already the locations? Will you have some free time? IIRC, you're going to be here for Book week (books events in every big city, with bazaars and the like). It's always lots of fun.

and forgot that it was Passover

I hadn't been around lately, at all, Passover or not. In fact, I shouldn't even be here right now. But most of the people are not here today anyway, all the students aren't back yet, so I comfort myself with playing online.

Jesse!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

BWAH! I totally feel like that when I'm away for any period of time.

I know the general locations, but not exactly where we're going to be when. There's a certain amount of controlled free time, but I don't know yet exactly where and when. Book Week sounds pretty fun. I've been thinking about staying for a few days after the end of the official trip, but I haven't figured out any of the details of that yet.

Well, for the record, you do know that if you need a place to sleep, I can offer you a roof over your head, right? It's not as nice as you offered me - I do have 3 flatmates (hopefully, by the time of your trip, we'll find one to replace the one who got married, already), and no computer there, as well. But if you want it, I'll be happy to have you over.
