Sometimes when I'm sitting in class... You know, I'm not thinking about class, 'cause that would never happen. I think about kissing you. And it's like everything stops. It's like, it's like freeze frame. Willow kissage.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

dcp, I would think your landlord is obligated to pay for an exterminator, given evidence of a spider that can KILL PEOPLE. If it were just a random Charlotte spider (are you finding webs in the corner with messages spelled out?), that might not be grounds for landlord-funded extermination but -- brown recluse!

Also, from your picture, I am IN LOVE with tufty wren! That picture is National Geographic cover-worthy.

We knew this.

Yes, but this is harder evidence.

I like this temp haircolor Pulse to tide between full dye jobs. Though I probably should have not chosen Plum. It's fine, and shiney, but I'm pinker than I normally choose. But still pretty.

Ground control to major tom!

This song freaks me out. Especially now after Columbia which had a big impact on me. Mainly because of Kalpana Chawla and her seeing a reflected earth in her eyes.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Timelies,

My long weekend is looking like it's going to be less fun than I was hoping on.

For starters, when I went out to my car to go to lunch today I discovered that huge chunks of paint had peeled away from the front bumper and around the grill at some point. I very rarely look at the front of my car, let alone in direct sunlight, so who knows how long this has been going on, though I'm guessing it either happened when I got it was last week or driving down the interstate Wednesday morning during the rainstorm from hell. Obviously when it went to the body shop six months ago they did shitty job of painting the new bumper they had to put on.

As for the weekend itself, I'm going to Anime Central this weekend. Unfortunately, the last of my friends who usually go with me e-mailed me today to say he had to work both Friday and Saturday night despite requesting it off. Which means nobody I know is going to be there and I absolutely suck at socializing with people I don't know. I managed to convince one of my other friends who lives near the convention center to drop by and hang out for a couple hours Friday, but that's it.

Not the end of the world, I know, but still very disappointing.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

I agree with Robin that the definition of slavery is not limited to those who are abducted into servitude.

Servitude is the thing.

...my interpretation of Robin's post may be at issue...

Running a full build on my own computer is freaking when the UI testing kicks in, dialog boxes popping up, being manipulated at insane speed, and closing all over my monitor while I'm trying to do other things.

Gud, this is why I'm still running OSX 10.2.1 despite having free cds of Panther for over a month. And promises for Tiger (is that what it is called?) anytime I want it.

Well, that and I have no idea what my admin password is. Shit.

(eta: and Mac is easy. I'm just soooo lazy.)

There's nothing wrong with the OS, it's just an annoying having this stuff running in the background while trying to do other stuff. I have to say, XP is actually doing a pretty decent job considering how much stuff is running on my computer right now.

Do not try to control the horizonal or the vertical. You have entered the Mac World Zone.
