The E train is a good call, Tom. There's also a bus from PA to JFK. Here's the website that lays out the options: [link]
Edit: msbelle, don't you think the E would be faster than the A?
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

hee - semi-cross post with Tom. You can take either the A or the E.
The E train is express, so it'll be faster.
During anything resembling rush-hour I'd go with the airtrain/subway over the bus.
I bow to Tom's superior knowledge. also? TOM!!
I am not sure on time, but I would allow 1.5 hours at least.
Oh, yeah. I missed a plane b/c of how long it took. Allow at least 1.5 hours. A taxi would cost around $40 and take maybe 45 mins.
Also, if you're flying American, that's the last stop on the AirTrain from Jamaica, so it was like ten minutes longer than some of the other airlines.
Seriously, ask four NYers how to get to the airport and you get five different opinions.
OK, excellent. My bus gets in at 2:10 and my plane leaves at 6, so I'm not too worried about time. Thanks!
edit: heh. There seems to be some consensus on the E train, so that's what I'll go with.
So far, the red spinny Rambaldi device has (1) exploded and almost drowned Vaughn, and (b) caused bees to go insane. It's purpose is to look cool and do stuff that the plot needs.
Wait, wait. This map indicates the E doesn't go to the AirTrain: [link]
