Can't drink, smoke, diddle my willy. Doesn't leave much to do other than watch you blokes stumble around playing Agatha Christie.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The status is NOT quo.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

There, there, Matt. Maybe you can stay up late at the F2F like one of the big kids. How would that be?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I should just give up, start wearing golf clothes, and give them an allowance.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

They COULD have stiffed the cabbie. But they didn't.

Actually, they couldn't have. The rules say you have to pay off your cab. (Which can also be accomplished by negotiating a lower rate, but since they didn't do that, they owed him the full metered amount.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

All my coolness has fled. I stayed over at the parents' last night so Mom could borrow my car today, and found out that they like to stay up much later at night than I do.

Heh. The last time I stayed with my SoCal grandmother, I always went to bed before her. At least I had the time zone excuse...

Coding and Sleeping

Leif woke up at 5:20 this morning. That's too early.

On the plus side it gave me a little time this morning to paint the inside of the rear panel and rear door of the backyard spaceship after I exercised.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So a DC-9 that was flying to Minneapolis reported hydraulic problems while in the air. The plane landed without incident, but when it was taxiing to the gate the brakes failed. It ended up lodged under an Airbus. Six people were injured.

I'm mostly posting this because of the pictures - they fall under the "stuff you don't see every day" catagory....

Up with the sun

Today I am wearing red pants and a black t-shirt, so I am wearing red panties and a black bra.

And, see, to me, that would match -- my "rule" is that if I'd wear the colors together on the outside, they're okay as a set of underthings. What wouldn't match would be, like, orange underpants and a purple bra, or two different-and-clashy multicolored floral prints. White and black bras and panties go with everything, in my world.

This makes me sound a little OCD, doesn't it?

What the heck is wrong with Kirk(on GG)'s chest?

I was wonderng the same thing. It almost looks like he has a third pec.

The thing that bugged me on GG was how quickly Lorelai's pregancy scare was resolved. As shown, that was pointless angst, and I hope she really is pregnant because otherwise I'm going to assume the show's writers all need a remedial course in How Babies Are Made.

The rules say you have to pay off your cab. (Which can also be accomplished by negotiating a lower rate, but since they didn't do that, they owed him the full metered amount.)

What would happen if they got the cabby's card and arranged to send him the full fare when they got home? Would that also be against the rules?
