Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

They need a Logan spinoff.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I gotta admit, the Veronica emotional issues, except for her mother, didn't get to me that much. There was too much coincidental oversight on her part, in combination with really lousy judgment. So I was emotionally disengaged.

I'm in it for the Logan, lemme tell you.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I would absolutely be up for that.

Speaking of endings -- what was the point of GG's ending? My god, I don't love the empty cliffhanger, even if it's only for a week.

I don't even remember it. I think I was too busy bleeding from the eyes at the sight of Kirk's deformed chest.

Holy shit. Did any of you see this past week's Jack and Bobby with the funeral? No way, minister man GOES OFF. no way.

Hmmm. Someone on LJ suggested that maybe it's Wallace who showed up at the end. Which I could see and not hate. BFF and all.

They also suggested that, "Maybe he and Weevil just went to compare cojones, or something." Which, of course, made me think. Slash.

And now that I'm giving this some thought, I really loved a lot the whole, "You killed my daughter! You killed my daughter! You killed my daughter!" ... "You're under arrest." That was great. The entire Kane family can feel free to relocate to another city. They all annoy me.

Going back to last week, I'm still irritated that Veronica didn't just stay in the poolhouse and confront Logan. It seems more her style and then he could have been all shocked and appalled and they would have worked it out and maybe had sex in the back of his truck. Or whatever.

I didn't look at the chest. It ended with Rory calling her mother to come pick her up, and then fade to black. She'd just gotten Logan to go joyriding, but there was no intimation of danger.

Mmph. I gotta go study for tomorrow's krav test. Ick.

As for J&B -- he was nutso from the time he threw Missy out of the house, so I buy that as an extension.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

The ending of VM was Fucking Rude. and if it is Duncan - well ptui! we will speak of it no more. I would like d it to have been Wallace. Her friiend is the one that should show up.

and I don't think that Aaron being the murderer was unexplained. Strangely for television it wasn't fully explained. But well enough hinted at theat enough of us thought it was a possibility.

and ithink the theme for the season was something along the lines of: even if you are really smart, that doesn't mean you can't be wrong. V was so right about everything at the beginning - yet , rather subtley for television - sometimes wrong was better than right (like the commune episode) and sometiems assumptions made are way out of whack. ( like the bomb threat ep) and even friends sometimes lie.

so I 'm not sure about how I feel about mom. she is not a good one, but I get the feeling there is a bit more going on. just sorta the food /music thing. I bet if they wanted to make me like her- they could. Hell, they made me like Logan and he is one of the first tv characters I hated at first sight. If this were a romance novel we would be fated to be together forever. darn.
