Right, there comes a point where you have to either move on, or just buy yourself a Klingon costume and go with it.

Mostly lurking...

I love being here in the morning. It's about the only time of day I can keep up anymore.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I've progressed to taking a major decongestant. We'll see if it knocks me out enough to have to avoid work, but I'm going to be like a damn zombie even if it doesn't.

Dayquil, take me away!

Our wings are not tired

It's amusing to see the board wake up.

For some of us it's not waking up, it's time to turn in. Okay, I've got to get a few hours of sleep before I head into work on Space Mountain.

Swouncing

It's always funny when after skipping thousands of posts, I land on something I have an actual response to.

It's amusing to see the board wake up.

Oh, the different timezones.

Theo, I hope you feel better soon.

Trust my rage

re: Grey's Anatomy I agree with all that there is no way Dr. Yang would not have an abortion. The storyline bugs me, though. It's one thing to have one doctor sleeping with her boss. Two seems a bit like overkill, but allows for interesting possibilities of differnet ways to handle it. However, throwing an unplanned pregnancy out there feels really cheap and easy to me, unless they do something powerful with it (and an abortion might have that effect), and like everyone has said, that is unlikely.

I still really like this show and Patrick Dempsey is still hot, but I hope it's not going to turn into the kind of show where everyone has slept with everyone, and we've had 5 rapes and two drug addictions before the end of the 2nd season.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Not only do I not see Christina keeping the baby, I don't see her having unsafe sex! Honestly.

Morning, east coast. I called out from work today, which means I can have a relatively liesurely couple of days. And do laundry. Word.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jesse, I remember a condom disposal in at least one of their scenes, so who knows?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I hate when tv shows make the really unlikely thing happen.

So of course my boss emailed back immediately asking if I could work on Friday (I usually work Monday and Thursday). My plans for Friday were to be hungover and finish up the last paper. What to do??? I guess I could use the money, but ugh.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Timelies!

Sad news - my iBook died. It's that problem with the screen that iBooks had a while back, so Apple should fix it for free, but still - there go my plans to watch DVDs on the train to NO, and also I'll be computerless in the hotel. Unless I can find a laptop to borrow.

And I arrive at work this morning to discover - The ants have returned. Why are they here? What do they want? What's so special about my desk?

Perhaps I should clean all the crumbs off it....
