Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Timelies!

Sad news - my iBook died. It's that problem with the screen that iBooks had a while back, so Apple should fix it for free, but still - there go my plans to watch DVDs on the train to NO, and also I'll be computerless in the hotel. Unless I can find a laptop to borrow.

And I arrive at work this morning to discover - The ants have returned. Why are they here? What do they want? What's so special about my desk?

Perhaps I should clean all the crumbs off it....

I totally and completely and utterly missed that plot line. Weird. I really have gotten bad about actually paying attention to the tv when it is on.

Mouse update: it committed suicide last night. I was looming over it, it squeaked at me twice and made a mad scramble to the edge of the balcony and jumped. Pretty sure it was damaged before the leap, though. Anyway.

Dogwoods pretty.

Swouncing

So of course my boss emailed back immediately asking if I could work on Friday (I usually work Monday and Thursday). My plans for Friday were to be hungover and finish up the last paper.

Jesse, could you maybe work part time on Friday, so that you could at least do either the hungover part of the paper part?

Well, it knew it couldn't get off the balcony and back into the apartment, so....

Kinda' like Luke Skywalker after Darth Vader cut off his hand.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

sara, I can't believe that mouse lived as long as it did!

I already don't go in until 10, so I guess it'll be fine. I don't have a ton to do on the last paper, so I can just do it (gasp!) ahead of time. And spend a little time working on it while at work (don't tell).

don't tell

If your boss hears about it, it wouldn't be from me.

When does your semester end?

Officially, I think it's next Monday, but my last thing is due Friday, last class is Wednesday.

Except for the whole part where the mouse went PLOP and was lying dead in the grass this morning.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am madly in love with Grey's and I am not exactly sure why. There are the obvious things, but it is beyond the cute and the tiny fists now. anyway, my fear is that Derek is married/attached and a world of hurt is coming down on my girl's head.

I don't feel like I got a full weekend, which is silly, but nevertheless true. I slept until 2 on Sat and then on Sunday had a very productive day of cleaning and living room rearraninging.

I had dreams where I went blind and then another where I was being chased. not the most restful dreams. stupid subconcious.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Got to wake up this morning at 5:45 to the melodious sounds of my dog puking. Nature is a beautiful thing. Walked her, showered, shopped, and still got to work 45 minutes early.
