Exactly, Kat. Bend it like Beckham was on today too, and there, JRM=yum (as long as he isn't running). In Velvet Goldmine, also yum.
He is not, however, Elvis.

---- I think what I like best about this series of Dr. Who is that the bit players both die and save the Doctor and his companion. Who's still top dog, but not always the one on the white horse of action or decision. ===
Yeah but I'd be happier with that if someone besides women died.
Jonathan Rhys Meyers is not Elvis.
No, but he does a pretty good imitation of Bowie's Ziggy Stardust phase.
Gar: I think the kid in this last episode is fucked worse than the women who got to go out heroically (or not die at all, like the new PM).
I especially enjoyed the parts about the love birds' matching wads of cash, for some reason.
Heh. It was kind of cute. They're oddly well matched. Though he has a proper gambler's roll bound up with rubber bands, and she has a proper actress' random scattering of bills in her purse and book.
I do need to note that until Phil entered her sphere she was not a cash and carry gal. But she kind of likes it now.
OK - I think the "last episode" you are talking about is one I will not see until Tuesday. So I'm glad that it was coincidence, not a pattern.
I think one problem I'm having was the first episodes was absolutely dead on perfect to me. And the second wasn't; but the world building, and especially one skinny minor character was so fabulous I did not care. And so while the others have been good my expectations are now unreasonable.

Yup. Still cute.
I'm watching Gray's Anatomy, for the first time. This tiny toddler is the cutest, sweetest thing ever. She's so adorable. Wonderful casting.
She really is adorable, Alibelle. I loved the "not lipstick" line, or maybe I should say adlib.
Me, too! She was completely willing to go along with everything, and she was totally enjoying herself. She was easily my favorite character. I'd totally watch the Jamie show.
The kid was adorable. Patrick Dempsey was dreamy. Isaiah Washington was smoking. I had chocolate mousse cake and a nice hike and saw a sealion today.
All is pretty damned good with the world.
Did I mention I ate goat?
Mmm.
