Mal: You tell me right now, little Kaylee, you really think you can do this? Kaylee: Sure. Yeah. I think so. 'Sides, if I mess up, not like you'll be able to yell at me.

OK - I think the "last episode" you are talking about is one I will not see until Tuesday. So I'm glad that it was coincidence, not a pattern.

I think one problem I'm having was the first episodes was absolutely dead on perfect to me. And the second wasn't; but the world building, and especially one skinny minor character was so fabulous I did not care. And so while the others have been good my expectations are now unreasonable.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

I do need to note that until Phil entered her sphere she was not a cash and carry gal. But she kind of likes it now.

Yup. Still cute.

I'm watching Gray's Anatomy, for the first time. This tiny toddler is the cutest, sweetest thing ever. She's so adorable. Wonderful casting.

She really is adorable, Alibelle. I loved the "not lipstick" line, or maybe I should say adlib.

Me, too! She was completely willing to go along with everything, and she was totally enjoying herself. She was easily my favorite character. I'd totally watch the Jamie show.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The kid was adorable. Patrick Dempsey was dreamy. Isaiah Washington was smoking. I had chocolate mousse cake and a nice hike and saw a sealion today.

All is pretty damned good with the world.

Did I mention I ate goat?

Mmm.

Also on Gray's, I totally agree with Chikat, Trudy and Zenkitty. I will be pissed if she keeps the baby. I might also be pissed if they take the easy way out and have her lose the baby.

Cereal: I'm glad you had a good hike, ita. Where did you eat goat?

The goat was at the Indian restaurant nearest me. I forget the exact dish -- not curry, for a change. Something with yoghurt and cilantro. Nummy.

About Grey's: I expect it will go the easy way. It's not a difficult sort of a show. Plus, season finale next week.

That does sound good, ita, I guess. I've never had goat.

I think you might be right, ita. I wish it wouldn't.
