Hey Alibelle? Guess who just called? Phil the gambling man. He's coming over in a minute to kill an hour with the hanging out and such like.

I go to bed last night and *then* you discuss Meloni and Tim Bayliss. But I'm always here for taste-tasted formula and baseball. Groan. I forgot about the bounty-hunting storyline, and yeah, Tim= very hot in that "I'm so tormented," way.

JenP -- that's exactly it. It's the flashing grin or the curmodgeonliness or the devastation. And he walks kinda fun too.

Ugh.

They jacked the interest rate o my credit card up to 15% from 9%.

I called, had it lowed to 13%, but still, that is so ridiculous.

I'm considering going to the credit union at work and trying to get a fixed rate loan to pay it off and be beholden to a credit union rather than an unweildy bank.

Any financial people have advice in this regard?

Allyson, what I have ended up doing (and infrequently enough that I don't think it'd hurt me in the eyes of the credit god) is getting a new credit card that has 0% APR on balance transfers. And that gives you breathing room to work out how else to do it (or, if you're lucky, enough time to pay it off before they bump the rate back up).

But I'm not a professional, and daren't play one even on TV.

I keep having fantasies of selling my book, and just making enough to pay off this card. Please. It's all I want.
