Oh, ita, I love Shameless. It's something of a guilty pleasure, because you know that if you had the Gallaghers actually living near you, you'd hate them with the fire of a thousand suns. But somehow, you end up loving them, anti-social behaviour and all.

Also, have you seen Shallow Grave? That was my introduction to Christopher Ecclestone, I think.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That was my introduction to Christopher Ecclestone, I think.

I have the gappiest memory when it comes to that movie. I had to watch it again after gaining the Ewan love, and I just didn't notice anyone else.

More than happy to try it again.

No rain here! In fact, I think I'm going to go out to the arboretum and take some pictures of dogwoods for my mom. Shortly. First, I must make a shopping list.

Also? MOUSE. And Devi kept dropping it front of Mister Kitty so it could wobble drunkenly around and intrigue him. Sweet of her, no? Closest I've seen them to collaboration. Of course, when I went to retrieve it, she picked it up and played evasive. Uhrg. It is dead (mostly) out on my balcony. I'll deal with it later.

I'd like to know why it is that she always seems to find mice when I am unclothed. Only twice have I been decent, and I think we're past the 10 mouse mark now. Maybe I should shower and sleep fully dressed or something.

Oops. Just checked. It seems mostly alive. Maybe dying or maybe stupid and scared spitless. Later.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Ali, Ali, Ali. You consider so little in assessing hotness. Have I taught you nothing?

Apparently. Normally your taste is faultless, but that guy is just very freaky looking. He looks like a character out of Star Trek, you know, vaguely off, but humanoid.

I went to a BBQ / pool party yesterday, and I think I am still full. Also, almost everyone got thrown in the pool fully clothed, but I managed to escape by virtue of clinging to the main thrower's digital camera, and by judiciously placing myself on the far side of the fence. Because, dude. It was cold yesterday, and the water was freezing.

I think the appeal of CE's Doctor is tied to seeing him in action (that is, unlike it is with some other people, just looking at a picture does't do it). I don't think I've seen CE in anything else before. Maybe need to remedy that.

It is beautiful here. Just took my mother out for a Mother's Day brunch. It was good, but the service... oy, the service. Eh, it's OK. We had nowhere to be, and they were perfectly pleasant if not particularly efficient.

Now I'm watching Numbers. And then it'll be Dr. Who. And then I should take advantage of the pretty day and take a walk.

Happy Mother's Day to all of you who are.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm feeling down because I can't be in NJ for my Mom's day myself. And I'm sniffling and think I may be coming down with a cold, so Feh in a major way here.

Okay, I'll accept that.

Happy Mother's Day!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Happy Mother's Day, everyone.

My mom came through her last surgery very well last Friday, but while the surgeon could fix her body, he can't fix her mind. If your mother can still carry on a conversation with you, have one with her.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Went looking at houses today. Actually, looked at three townhouses and a bunch of single-family homes. We're thinking about some of the townhouses. (The houses tended to be a bit small for the money, though some of them were cute.)
