Burrell, you have a teeny dictatorial excuse for a short list.
Dinner tonight will be coleslaw and the last of my chicken & pork spareribs stuff. Going to go get some more ingrediants on the way home so I can marinate them this weekend for the next week.
Dinner tonight for me will be Korean food, before joining Amyth and Smonster for HGttG.
My to-do list basically involved showing up for work. Today's payday, and I had a non-direct deposit check coming in, so I felt all kindsa motivated.
Now I have six minutes left in my workday and the motivation is long gone.
OH! payday! right. awesome.
Ooh! I should be getting paid today, too! A month's worth of pay!! Since this bitch at my job rejected my timesheet that time.
Oh! This reminds me I have some regular sized M&M's stashed in the Freezer. Cashmere, you just made my day a whole lot brighter.
My work here is done. Not really.
I'm almost tempted to trade in the minivan:
I like the idea of a manual transmission and better mileage.
Gud, I've heard that the Volvo wagon kicks major ass as a family car.
And I'm out of M&Ms.
I should Fed Ex you some of my minis. They were on sale and I grabbed a bunch of those little rolls they come in from the Star Wars promotional bin. I got the Wookie Mix, though, no Darth Mix dark chocolate ones. I'm firmly on the milk chocolate side of The Force.
I'm glad for the internet. I can gush like the fangurl I am without the sweating, blushing and tripping over my tongue that would come from meeting a celebrity face to face.
So far, I've only completed the first two. ha ha ha ha ha
Um, Burrell, any time you PULL A HUMAN BEING OUT OF YOUR OWN BODY in the past week, you get a pass.
Gud, I've heard that the Volvo wagon kicks major ass as a family car.
I dunno that we'd actually do it, the Minivan is pretty nice and we're under warrenty for another 2 years and 40,000 miles. OTOH, I e-mailed it to my wife and she really likes it but is unsure about being a sterotypical liberal mom.
Wind sucks. Gentle breezes are great, but I hate big wind. Now my ears hurt. I think I may just have to order pizza for dinner, but given my time zone, that is a long time away. Who knows what will happen.
It's a hard choice--the right family vehicle. At one point, DH swore he wanted to get a Dodge Power Wagon. I had a tough time convincing him that we'd never find one and that he'd never be able to restore it completely by himself.
Life is often a compromise for the two of us. Which means we're going to buy the minivan that I want when I find it.
When we got the Minivan, there was still a third child question. But that's looking unlikely now. So now, something that gets better fuel economy but can still carry mulch and wood and stuff like that. But those extra seats do come in handy time to time, and even with the kids in the van, there is a huge amount of cargo space that a wagon can't match. OTOH, my wife doesn't like the van in the snow and ice and a manual wagon would probably be better. I think we'll probably stick with the van though, the gas mileage doesn't add up to that much savings even with current gas prices.
