Told ya not to call her "Bobita."
What with having class at dinner time, I'm getting into eating breakfast, brunch, linner, and then a late snack.

Sorry Brenda. Except, not really. We had to eat at Ben's the last time I was there (cranky father, bad-kneed mother) and it was so sad. I mean, if you hate smoked meat (as I do) it's a waste of a meal in lovely Montreal.
Yup, Cindy, all responsible (although expecting nothing to come of it). I also have an orthopedic appointment for Monday, since my wrist has been acting up. So responsible.
Ugh, Ben's. Though I will admit to a fondness for Schwartz's.
I was just thinking about Santropol the other day. I used to live about across the street.

Oh, cool and tempting. Even though I go back to the city every year, it's been at least ten since I ate at Santropol. Must make a note to do that this year. I think I didn't mind eating at Reuben's -- certainly not their smoked meat, though. Must have been a cheesecake thing.
I don't think I've had breakfast out in a very very very long time. Probably not since childhood. Brunch-defined-by-food was probably a couple years ago?
The last time I went to Kindergarten Tea party was September 11, 2001.
Dude, if you were writing for Alias I'd claim this was highly anvilicious.
I'm so sad! Lulu's Blue Plate has disappeared! I need to find a new brunchy/fancy breakfast place.
When I lived in Carrboro I was within walking distance of sort of a post-hippie diner named Elmos. (Post-hippie=served granola and hummus and bacon, all on the same plate if you asked.) They had the best coffee ever, as well as damned fine huervos rancheros. I remember going there one Saturday for brunch, drinking about 7 cups of coffee, and then burbling to my roommate about how beautiful everyone in the room was.
