Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The last time I went to Kindergarten Tea party was September 11, 2001.

Dude, if you were writing for Alias I'd claim this was highly anvilicious.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm so sad! Lulu's Blue Plate has disappeared! I need to find a new brunchy/fancy breakfast place.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

When I lived in Carrboro I was within walking distance of sort of a post-hippie diner named Elmos. (Post-hippie=served granola and hummus and bacon, all on the same plate if you asked.) They had the best coffee ever, as well as damned fine huervos rancheros. I remember going there one Saturday for brunch, drinking about 7 cups of coffee, and then burbling to my roommate about how beautiful everyone in the room was.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Best breakfast we ever had was at El Sol Y La Luna in Austin, TX. I love freshly made tortillas served up with migas with chorizo and refried beans on the side.

You know there's a really good tortillaria in Fells Point now? At least one.

Best breakfast burritos I ever had were at the Dairy Queen in the little town it TX my grandparents lived in. Freshly made tortillas and everything. So yum.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I just had artichoke and tofu pizza. Would have been better without the tofu.

I can't remember! I'll ask my friend and let you know. She is writing about them for an upcoming Baltimore Magazine issue. I think...anyway she brought a bunch of them home and we made fish tacos for America's Next Top Model night a couple of weeks ago. The place mostly sells tortillas to go but they also do some tacos there.

ETA .. Hah! It's called La Tortilleria. I'll find out the address.
