Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Nice shirt. They misspelled immediately.

Coding and Sleeping

That does seem evil, Eddie. I suspect universal health care will appear as an issue in the next presidential election. I've come around to the idea that spending twice as much money per person on health care in order to leave a fifth of the population uncovered is the best idea. I think the idea could gain some traction even though there will be lots of people decring adopting the system of known communist countries like Japan and Germany.

I'm having sleeping troubles tonight.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Timelies!

I slept pretty well considering that my night was so exciting and all. I owe it all to drugs, really.

Apparently Alan Tudyk and Gina Torres were at the SF screening.

I just burned toast in a major way. There's smoke everywhere. Stupid toaster.

Did you have a seizure?

No, but when I woke up there was still the smell of burnt toast in the air. i had to open a window.

Also I discovered at 9pm last night that I had not quite turned my iron off yesterday morning (it was on "1"), nor did I unplug it. I found it tipped over on my bed, with a slight scorch mark on my table top ironing board. I'm very lucky there wasn't a fire. Yikes!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Um, Sue, you might want to look into a new iron with auto-off. No burning down the house!!

Morning, y'all. I have a shitload of work to get done in the next few days. I can't decide if I should start with the little things, to be able to check things off the list, or save them for rewards for when I'm sick of the big things.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Do them first, Jesse. Then they are done. Reward yourself with stuff not on your list for your big things.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just fainted. That was interesting. For all values of interesting that include "not very fun." There's nothing like losing consciousness (sober without getting hit) that makes you distrust your physiology.

Your tag here.

Oh great, now I'm ear-wormed with the Talking Heads' song "Burning Down the House". Thanks Jesse.
