OMG Alias. So good.
See? I told you all Jack was going to make it. I really didn't like seeing him like that, though. If anyone should be 100% in control of their mental facilities at all time, it's Spydaddy. It's disconcerting when he doesn't.
The one thing I'm still shocked by is that
he told Laura/Irina exactly what his mission was, and the doc still made it to Finland. Which, YAY, because now Jack can get better and we'll have no more of this silly death talk, but still, why wouldn't she have tipped off the KGB?
Very good question, Jessica. This is where my lack of background in the first couple of seasons of Alias fails me, I don't have a good enough feel for the
"real" Irina. She
always seemed
pretty damn ruthless,
from what I could see.
Alias: Well, we don't know that the real Irina ever asked that question.
Oh, right. I guess that would explain it.
In a surprise announcement Wednesday, Comedy Central announced that the highly anticipated third season of Dave Chappelle's will not make its May 31 premiere date.
"Comedy Central has suspended production on the third season of Chappelle's Show until further notice," network spokesman Tony Fox said in a brief statement. "All parties are optimistic that production will resume in the near future."
No official reason was given for the shutdown, but sources told E! News that Chappelle has been MIA from the set for weeks.
I bet ita has him locked up in her apartment.

The completely unsubstantiated, unsourced and unreliable rumour I heard was that he had had a nervous breakdown. That makes me feel better since I was afraid it was drugs-- and it seems that conditions would be ripe for him to be under a lot of pressure.
Car talk: no rentals, as they're almost exclusively automatics, and I worked at a Large Rental Car Agency on the ready line one summer, and do not trust the car conditions.
The Prizm is slighly cheaper on resale here than its sister car, but less common.
The Saturn, if we decide to go the cheap-but-with-A/C route, looks to be the best bet. Also, can be found in 5 speed.
DAVE!!!!
Okay, no, that makes me very sad. He's ... well, apart from insanely talented has never been anything other than stunningly sweet and genuine to me. I really hope it's something harmless and stupid and that's not messing with his family.
It's been forever since I've had a migraine that lasted this long. Which is why I tried to go teach today, despite staying home from real-work. I fear I wasn't very useful, and I'm back home despite being assigned to teach again at 8:45.
So far I've fed it Imitrex, Tylenol, Aleve and Darvocet. I was
trying
to avoid the Flexoril (I hate the hangovers), but I need to cave.
My USC cousin has invited me to her graduation. Which is next Thursday at 8am. I've seen her
twice
in LA during her whole degree (she is finishing a year early, but that's no excuse). I should go, but fuck. Thursday. 8AM.
Poor migraine ita.
I'm still hoping for writer's block wrt Chappelle.
