Aimee, The 4-door 2001 Windstar LX has keyless entry as a standard feature. The 3-door 2001 Windstar LX does not. The link below gives you a secret way to tell if keyless entry is installed.

Our dealership was pretty cool, the Van didn't have an Owner's Manual or Keyfobs but they gave us new ones.
If you got it from a Ford dealership maybe they can get you keyfobs since it should have had 'em.
