Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's a Riley line, Epic, from the splitty phallus of Toth episode (or The One With Two Xanders).

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Epic, it's a Riley quote- The Replacement. When they're at the dump before the Toth (?) splits Xander.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

And I hang my head lower for forgetting a Buffy quote. How lame am I?

Though that really was a great x-post.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK. I am not doing school work (bad!), but I have written out many mother's day cards, paid some bills, done a sinkful of dishes, and made dinner for after class (unless it becomes linner before class). I am also continuing to load CDs into iTunes, which for whatever reason, feels like a real accomplishment.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

A couple days ago I was wondering at having forgotten so much Jossverse lore.

And then a friend asked me "Why did Angel end up working for Wesley, and why was Cordelia so mad at him?"

"Well, in Reunion, written by Shawn Ryan and Tim Minear ..."

God, I wonder if there's anything actually useful I could occupy those neurons with? Or maybe that's why I get the migraines. Tumour of Joss.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Heh. It's always a good day when you get to provoke a quadruple cross-post!

I have written out many mother's day cards,

Jesse, how many mothers do you have?

Jesse - May 04, 2005 10:34:49 am PDT #1303 of 10001
Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Just the one mother, but then two grandmothers, and then I saw a card "from the cat" which I decided I had to send to my aunt, because she's always sending me cards and I never reciprocate. So I got four mother's day cards.
