Okay, the books are gone.
The lack of money was a little painful, but not nearly as painful as handing over books to someone who clearly doesn't love them. I said, "Hey, can I have my box back?" and he said, "Sure," and DUMPED THE BOX OF BOOKS ON THE FLOOR. Without care.
I could hear their bookish little souls crying out, chasing after me as I fled to the car and the promise of a consolatory cheesesteak.
I'm gonna post this without comment: How to organize an orgy
I don't know if it was the same article, but my 8th grade English teacher kept a newspaper article pinned to the bulletin board all year with a similar title. He was a cool teacher. ;)
I have no key fob.
What's the year and Model type? I think most Windstars have keyless entry.

I know what you mean. Some of the most well-read ones I've come across are atheist or agnostic philosophers. I don't do the heretic thing, though. I feel like I'm missing out.
You know what was the worst? One summer I worked briefly at a new Waldenbooks, stocking the shelves for the opening . Guess what we were supposed to do with the overstock.
Tear off the front cover and toss 'em.
Hundreds and hundreds and maybe even thousands of brand new books. It was kind of depressing.
I tell them they're just Christian heretics, and they pout and go away in a huff.
So, if somone is well-read in Christian theology, that automatically makes them a Christian no matter what their actual belief system is? Huh.
I think connie's just taking the piss, Jess.
It wouldn't be until the weekend at the earliest, Kate, and that's only if I get my act together. Tonight is booked for comics and teevee, and tomorrow I'm going to see Dave Attell. I also seem to be writing an
Ocean's Eleven
story for no discernable reason.
I need to eat lunch. And go to the post office.

I took the original remark to mean that Satanism is really based on Christianity....
