"There are two sorts of people in the world: those who believe Joss Whedon is a genius and those who are wrong." - Connie Ogle, Miami Herald

I'm gonna post this without comment: How to organize an orgy

I don't know if it was the same article, but my 8th grade English teacher kept a newspaper article pinned to the bulletin board all year with a similar title. He was a cool teacher. ;)

Coding and Sleeping

I have no key fob.

What's the year and Model type? I think most Windstars have keyless entry.

What is even happening?

Some of the most well-read students of Christian theology I've met have called themselves Satanists. I tell them they're just Christian heretics, and they pout and go away in a huff.
I know what you mean. Some of the most well-read ones I've come across are atheist or agnostic philosophers. I don't do the heretic thing, though. I feel like I'm missing out.

You know what was the worst? One summer I worked briefly at a new Waldenbooks, stocking the shelves for the opening . Guess what we were supposed to do with the overstock.

Tear off the front cover and toss 'em.

Hundreds and hundreds and maybe even thousands of brand new books. It was kind of depressing.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I tell them they're just Christian heretics, and they pout and go away in a huff.

So, if somone is well-read in Christian theology, that automatically makes them a Christian no matter what their actual belief system is? Huh.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

It wouldn't be until the weekend at the earliest, Kate, and that's only if I get my act together. Tonight is booked for comics and teevee, and tomorrow I'm going to see Dave Attell. I also seem to be writing an Ocean's Eleven story for no discernable reason.

I need to eat lunch. And go to the post office.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So, if somone is well-read in Christian theology, that automatically makes them a Christian no matter what their actual belief system is? Huh.

I took the original remark to mean that Satanism is really based on Christianity....

And if you're well-read in multiple theologies, you're obviously confused. Please.

If someone goes to the effort of analysing a religion in an attempt to live what they perceive to be the opposite, then they're not as far from the religion as they think.
